Entry Requirements
Domestic students must be a minimum of 17 years of age for all qualifications. International students must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
To ensure our students are best set up to succeed, we strongly encourage all applicants to have walked in the Christian faith for at least 12 months and be serving in their local church for at least six months prior to starting College. Water Baptism is also strongly encouraged.
First Year Application Process
A completed Level 5 application form
Proof of identity – certified passport or birth certificate.
Interview with LLC staff – either in person, by phone or Skype.
Applicants will also be asked to complete a one-page reflective essay (details will be emailed out to you).
Second Year Application Process
A completed Level 6 application form
Proof of identity – certified passport or birth certificate.
Interview with LLC staff – either in person, by phone or Skype.
Language Requirements
For international students whose native language is not English, the following criteria must be fulfilled before applying:
For entry into Level 5: a score of IELTS (Academic) 5.5 with no band score lower than 5
For entry into Level 6: a score of IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5.
*We may accept prior learning at another institute where English is the language of instruction as proof of English competency. Please note this course is an immersive ministry environment and fluent English is essential.
Fees
The New Zealand Diploma in Christian Studies (Level 5 and Level 6) tuition fees are as follows:
2021 Intakes
Domestic Fee: NZD $4,640
International Fee: NZD $10,700*
*Compulsory student services feee: NZD $300
